❓ Frequently Asked Questions ❓

  • 🧠 Who do you work with?

I specialize in supporting ADHD and autistic adults and teens (16+), women and femmes who’ve masked for years, and anyone feeling overwhelmed or out of sync in a neurotypical world. I also work with couples, families, and individuals from all backgrounds who want a safe, affirming space to grow.

  • 💬 What issues can you help with?

I support clients navigating ADHD and autism, anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, masking, identity fatigue, executive functioning challenges, emotional regulation, trauma, PTSD, life transitions, relationship and family dynamics, and LGBTQIA+ and gender identity support.

  • 💻 Are sessions online or in person?

All sessions are 100% online and available to clients across Texas.
I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform that’s easy to access from your phone, tablet, or computer.

  • 💸 Do you accept insurance?

No. However, I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement and a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) upon request, so you’ll know the expected cost of services before we begin. If you have questions about your rights or the GFE process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

  • 🧪 Can you diagnose ASD & ADHD?

Yes. As an LPC-Associate in Texas, my credentials allow me to assess and diagnose ADHD and autism. To ensure a thorough and accurate evaluation, I use a semi-structured interview process and, when possible, gather additional insights from a family member or significant other.

  • 💲 What are your fees?

    Initial Intake (90 min): $150.

    Individual Session (50 min): $100.

    Couples Session: $175.

    ADHD/Autism Assessment: $250 per session.

Most sessions are 50 minutes long, though intake sessions may last up to 90 minutes.

  • 📅 What can I expect from the free 15-minute consultation?

We’ll talk about what you’re looking for, how I can support you, and any questions you have. If it feels like a good match, we’ll discuss next steps. If not, I’ll offer referrals to someone who may be a better fit.

  • 💰 How much does it cost to get a formal ADHD or autism diagnosis?

Many insurance plans do not fully cover diagnostic assessments for ADHD or autism, which can make the process expensive and out of reach for many—especially women and high-masking individuals who may have gone undiagnosed for years.

Across the U.S., the average cost of a formal autism assessment for adults ranges from $1,000 to $3,000. Some providers may charge even more depending on the depth of testing and location.

At TMW Counseling, I offer affordable, accessible options.
